Apologies

Dear Bros,

If you are reading this, i just want to take the opportunity to say that I am sorry.

Looks like the fatigue caught up on me already. I apologise for all the things that you all have to take up due to my invalidity. I really appreciate you all being in my life. I will not know how to cope without you all.

I think the overdue vacation is too long overdue.

Best Regards,
Broken Lance

Drops of Jupiter...

"Now that she’s back in the atmosphere
With drops of jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there’s time to change, hey, hey
Since the return from her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like june, hey, hey
...
She checks out mozart while she does tae-bo
Reminds me that there’s room to grow, hey, hey
...
Now that she’s back in the atmosphere
I’m afraid that she might think of me as plain ol’ jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land"

Ever met someone who does that to you?
Well, when you do, and this is what you might want to say,

"Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while you were looking at yourself out there"

At least, right now, that's my response.

Running Low on Mana

This time I only have myself to blame... Anyway I am so tired that I have no time to attend to this nice little blog.

A few things to share:

1) I am always seeking the thrill of courting Lady Luck in one fashion or another.

So I guess my future spouse just have to stomach the idea that I will always be 'flirting' with this other lady. Sorry Dear, i don't mean to, but i can't help it.

2) Alex's nick on MSN: "The light at the end of the tunnel is the headlights of an incoming train."

So i guess Alex boy is kind of right. Sometimes we just see this on our perspectives, to the point that we only see what we want to see. We forget to look beyond and see what's all about ahead.

To all poor buggers who currently in mugger-mode all the best for your future! The world stinks and suck most time, but i'll still give thanks to God for keep me alive!

Rock On!!!

More Sour than Lime

{This post was due on friday, but i wasn't sober enough on friday nor yesterday to log it}

I still do not understand the need for white vinegar in the kitchen. Give me good old lemon and lime, anytime and day. Taste so much better with that lemony/limy fragance.

Though there are times i mistook dark vinegar for soy sauce, at least it goes well shark's fin and some other dishes.

I do appreciate what vinegar does to food, but i still disagree with the need of having white vinegar.

Itch for Singing

Really feel like singing the bridge of this song

Bon Jovi - I'll be there for you
------------------------------

I guess this time you're really leaving
I heard your suitcase say goodbye
Well as my broken heart lies bleeding
You say true love, it's suicide

You say you've cried a thousand rivers
And now you're swimming for the shore
You left me drowning in my tears
And you won't save me anymore

I pray to God you'll give me one more chance, girl

I'll be there for you
These five words I swear to you
When you breathe I want to be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what a love can do
I'll be there for you

I know you know we're had some good times
Now they have their own hiding place
I can't promise you tomorrow
But I can't buy back yesterday

And Baby you know my hands are dirty
But I wanted to be your valentine
I'll be the water when you get thirsty, baby
When you get drunk, I'll be the wine

I'll be there for you
These five words I swear to you
When you breathe I want to be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what a love can do
I'll be there for you

[Guitar Solo]

And I wasn't there when you were happy
I wasn't there when you were down
I didn't mean to miss your birthday, baby
I wish I'd seen you blow those candles out

I'll be there for you
These five words I swear to you
When you breathe I want to be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what a love can do
I'll be there for you

Itch for Ranting

Being sick of outside food and due to some circumstances, I found myself cooking dinner for myself. As I was preparing the lonely meal, I remember back in my JC days while I was working for my President Scout Award (PSA), part of the assessment was self reliance. Of which, one of the criteria is to be able to prepare a simple meal for three. Not speaking too highly of myself, that was not really a challenge for me. I was not awarded the (supposedly) prestigious award due to some other reasons. While taking a leadership later in the scouting movement, I met up with a lot of peers who were ‘fighting’ for the award together back then. They have sewn the PSA badges nicely on their uniform, while my uniform remains quite bare. There are plenty of times that I am really envious of them, and felt disappointed that I did not get what I believe I deserved. However, I do not feel anyway inferior to those PSA holders. I still remember how I bested some of them in some other areas of assessment. Though I do not wear the badge, I am reassured inside that I am no less competent a Scout than them.

Many a times in life, we are being judged, weighed and measured by the standards of the world around us. The standards are worldly by nature, like how much money we have, how good a degree we got or even how good we look. Many people also base their self-worth on all these things, but this should not be the case for Christians. Our worth is definitely not based on such standards, for the above standards are superficial in nature and they are insignificant in the kingdom of god and readily taken away. Wealth, status and beauty will not last eternity. However, there is always one thing that will be eternal and firm. That is the assurance of the eternal salvation and grace of God. Do we place on confidence on fragile perishables, or in our inner spiritual selves that dwells the Holy Spirit?

<>

Though I admit that most of the time, we always first rely on our human efforts and capabilities before turning to God for assurance and strength. My point is that rely not on anything but in the power of God, salvation that Christ Jesus given us and the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I pray that we may surrender our lives readily to god, and base all our confidence in things we in him.

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Psalm 18:2

Disposable Blade are meant to be Disposed

Have you ever felt after shaving, that you may catch a cold through your face? I did. After changing a new blade, felt that it was one of the smoother and refreshing-er shave within the last few weeks. Though Gillette claims to be the BEST that man can get, I always thought that maybe Jeanette (Aw) is better. Well, it was a close shave after all.

Peer Pressure

When your supposed best "suck-cock" buddies have blogs and you don't, you may remotely feel left out of the loop.

Welcome to the world where we are pressured by our peers 98.7% of times.

Presenting my first post!
